The economic environment has highlighted the many risks
associated with managing occupational
pension schemes. Recent legislation and
regulation have set the benchmarks for reducing risk. However, with
the increasing complexities confronting trustees and
employers, this Conference will highlight
examples of what can and has gone wrong
and provide practical guidance on how to minimise these risks.
Leading industry experts will focus on:
- What protection do you have against these risks?
- DB case study risks and solutions - the legal
and financial aspects of: the employer covenant,
scheme funding, ownership changes,
communication
- DC case study risks - investment, administration
and communication
- The Pensions Regulator’s expectation - DB & DC
schemes
- Failures - actual case studies and claim
examples, DC investment, insurance protection and
solutions
There will be panel debate and ample opportunity for questions.
In accordance with its aims of helping to raise standards of
trusteeship and pension scheme management, OPDU is pleased to be
jointly hosting this Conference with its underwriters ACE European
Group Limited at no charge to delegates.
